Bhutanese Community of Greater is a community self-help organization for the people of Bhutanese origin living in the Greater Rochester area. Rochester began to become home for the resettled Bhutanese refugees in 2007 when the first families arrived here. Since then, we have come a long a way and Greater Rochester area is now home to over 12,000 resettled Bhutanese Refugees.
We are a group of hardworking people. Within the span of 10 years, some of us are now professors at Monroe Community College, real estate agents, small business owners, parole officers, home-owners, and mostly net tax-payers to the treasury.
